- Savings at Freedom21 Federal Credit Union are called "SHARES." Each $10.00 deposit is one share. Dividends are compounded monthly and paid quarterly on balances above $50.00
- To maintain your Credit Union membership and use of other services, at least one primary "share" must be on deposit.
- You may choose the kind of share account that suits your needs; an individual account, a joint account for two or more people, or for minors, a custodial account. Share accounts are insured up to $100,000 by the NCUA.

- Deposit at least $50.00 to start earning dividends immediately.

Investment Accounts
- Invest your funds for specific terms, and you can earn a higher yield. Terms range from 6 months to 24 months on Certificate of Deposits (CDs)
- Deposit as little as $500 for a 6 month, 12 month, 18 month, or 24
month certificate.
- Your rate is guaranteed for the term of the certificate you open; a penalty will be imposed if certificate funds are withdrawn before the maturity date. Capitalize on the money you've worked hard for by getting guaranteed earnings on a safe (NCUA insured) investment.
